Hollywood Studio's 50's Prime Time Restaurant

Another great thing about Disney World is all the amazing food choices that you have and some of the table service restaurants can add a really fun experience to your trip. From character dining to ambience, to restaurants that just make you laugh and have a good time with some crazy shenanigans; Disney really knows how to make your meal a memorable one...not to mention how tasty Disney food is!!

So, after hearing a lot about Hollywood Studio's 50's Prime Time...I decided I had to check it out for myself and I am excited to share with you guys how it all went, but 1st some fun facts.

50's Prime Time is made to look like you are dining inside a 50's home. The restaurant is decked out with authentic mid century furniture and true 50's decor. When you walk in, you are automatically treated as family, in fact the wait staff etc are now your aunts or cousins and the Chef is now "Momma" in the kitchen. The menu items include classic American food choices like: old fashioned pot roast, fried chicken, traditional meatloaf, and chicken pot pie. Desserts include: milkshakes, apple pie, peanut butter cake, ice cream sundaes, and brownies with ice cream.

Some of the tables are even equipped with a black and white T.V. playing all the classics like "Leave It To Beaver" and "Dennis The Menace".

When our waitress arrived at the table she introduced herself as our "Aunt Laura" and told us that it was so good to have us come visit. She said that all the people that were there dining were our cousins and we immediately knew we were going to have some fun while we ate there. Some of the shenanigans that happened while we were there included being told to put the "walkie talkies (cell phones)" away (the 50's obviously did not have cell phones). Also, our "cousins" sitting at the table next to us had a new kiddo to Disney with a button stating "1st time at Disney" so one of the other waitresses came over with a bunch of Disney buttons for all of we cousins to wear that read "I'm Celebrating Nolan" and we were all told to put them on and make sure that we celebrated with Nolan.

When our Daughter Bella clearly did not finish her green beans at dinner our Aunt Laura told her she was going to need to see what Momma had to say about that before she could have dessert.  When she came back from talking to "Momma", Bella was handed this for dessert...

Now, why don't I think of things like that at home? lol

Those of us who finished our dinner were awarded with this...

Our experience was a lot of fun at 50's Prime Time!! I highly recommend checking it out.  Just make sure to schedule your reservations in advance for this one! Let me know all about your experience when you go!

Btw....you might even see some Hidden Mickeys...
